Which branch is the current main branch for VisionFive2?

This prefixed with JA7110_VisionFive2_. I would see JH7110_VisionFive2_6.1.y_devel as best suited in most cases, as most recent vendor kernel with full hardware support. JH7110_VisionFive2_devel is Linux 5.15, and JH7110_VisionFive2_upstream is not really meant for usage, but for upstreaming things.

Or you go with mainline Linux. If I see correctly, HDMI and PCIe (=> NVMe?) support are still missing: https://rvspace.org/en/project/JH7110_Upstream_Plan

@MichaIng Do you which defconfig settings have to be applied to the mainline (e.g. 6.9) kernel to get the hardware working? I tried a plain one as part of a NixOS build NixOS/nixos-hardware#958, which doesn't boot; no green LED, no HDMI (although from the status this should be expected i think), no ping through ethernet.
